DeFuniak Springs Teen Center

At the Boys & Girls Club we promote Academics, Good Citizenship & Healthy Lifestyle through many different activities and programs.

The DeFuniak Spring Teen Center is open Monday - Friday, immediately after school until 6:00 pm (Bus Transportation from Walton Middle School & Walton High School is available.)

Registration Information : There is a $25 registration fee and monthly $10 fee to particpate in Club programs.

Stephanie Pitts

Stephanie Pitts is the BGCEC Employee of the Quarter for the Fourth Quarter of 2009!
Stephanie had to step into big shoes to take over our Start SMART/Stay SMART programs.  She created lesson plans, scheduled classes, reported statistics and helped teach the programs.

Stephanie initiated our chapter of SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco).  She is the liaison between BGCEC and the Walton County Tobacco Prevention Coalition.  Since starting the group, our youth participated in the “Great American Smoke Out,” where they collected over 130 names in support of the banning of candy tobacco.  Stephanie was instrumental in working with our kids, building a float for the “Christmas Around The Lake Yard” parade. Great job, Stephanie! Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
