Aubrey Claxton

Aubrey was the Sprin 2009 Staff of the Quarter. She has been with the Club for almost a year and is one of the hardest workers that we have.  Aubrey is a very energetic worker that is always willing to work extra hours whenever needed.  She has also started an in house soccer league with Billy and together they have really started something special for our kids.  Aubrey was originally hired as the snack bar worker and fill-in programmer.  Through her dedication and work ethic, she was promoted to the nine year old group leader and given one of the full time summer positions.  Great job Aubrey!

Aubrey’s commitment to our kids is very evident with the way that she is able to deal with some of our more difficult members.  Aubrey has made a special connection with one of our kids named Jan and many of the times Aubrey is the only one that Jan will respond to when he is having a difficult time.  She has worked very hard to help him adjust to certain situations and has truly made a difference in his life and many others at the Club.

Aubrey began working for the Club in the summer of 2008 shortly after graduating from Choctawhatchee High School.

Why I work with the Club:
I work with the Club because I love working with children. I plan to teach special education children in the future.

Favorite thing about the Club:
My favorite thing about the Club is that everyday is a new challenge. I learn something new each day and I’m able to use what I learn to help the kids.
