Ft. Walton Beach Teen Center

At the Boys & Girls Club we promote Academics, Good Citizenship & Healthy Lifestyle through many different activities and programs.

The Ft. Walton Beach Teen Center is open Monday - Friday.
We offer After School (immediately after school until 6:00 pm) while school is in session, and All-Day (9:00 am - 6:00 pm) during the summer.
The Teen Center is also open most Saturdays from 10:00 am -2:00 pm.
Transportation is available but limited. Call the Club for more information.

Registration Information : There is a $25 registration fee. There is is also a $10 monthly fee to particpate in Club programs.

Our GREAT Staff

Denarius Thomas

Denarius Thomas is the 2010 Winter Staff of the Quarter. In December 2009 we hired Denarius Thomas as our Certified Teacher for the 21CCLC program.  Denarius quickly took over and brought a passion for teens, an enthusiasm for math, English, reading, science and a complete commitment to his work everyday to the Teen Center.  He was an instant hit with teens, staff and administration.

Denarius is an educational team leader for our teens; he is an organized, committed teacher who uses his passion for teens as the heart of his work.  As Denarius said in conversation with him and Bernard; “Everyday my mission is to motivate awe, fascinate and cause questioning among each of my students.”  He does this and more.  Denarius tutors teens regularly, restoring their confidence in problem solving.  Denarius makes our teen members believe they can master concepts.  He is an educational teacher and a positive role model for all of our teens to follow.  He listens well and encourages our teens to set high goals in life.
