Day for Kids
The 2008 Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids Event will be held on Saturday September 27th from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. Join us for a fantastic day of family fun, activities, projects and games. This event is hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, Eglin Youth Services and Hurlburt Youth Services. Tentatively scheduled to appear again this year is Home Depot, Nike Sports Camp, Zakari the Balloon Artist, Imagine Faces, Indian Temple Mound Museum and PAWS. This event is sponsored by Target, Wal-mart, Taco Bell, Buffalo’s Reef, Cox Communications and the Emerald Coast Conference Center. Please call (850) 862-1616 for more information!
2007 Day
for Kids
The Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids held
on September 15th at the Emerald Coast Conference Center from
10:30 – 1:30pm was a phenomenal success.
We had 2117 people attending the event,
including 1324 youth and 100 volunteers. We had 21 organizations,
groups and businesses serving the youth of our community during
the event. Sponsors such as Taco Bell, McDonalds, Buffalo’s Reef,
Wal-mart, Sam’s Club and Papa John’s Pizza served a free lunch to
the participants. Event sponsors Wal-mart, Target, kinnection.com,
Zakari, Cox Communications, White Wilson Medical Center, Build a
Bear and Cumulus Broadcasting provided a wonderful venue and
snacks and prizes to the children. Local groups such as the Junior
League of the Emerald Coast, the Home Depot, Nike, Target and
kinnetion.com provided fantastic activities and arts/crafts
projects for the families to do. We thank all the sponsors, donors
and the families who helped make the 2007 Boys & Girls Club Day
for Kids the best yet. We look forward to seeing everyone at next
year’s event on September 20, 2008.
