Junior Staff

Junior Staff is a program for Club teens ages 13 to 18. This program guides young people in preparing for a career in Boys & Girls Clubs and/or other service professions. Through participation in Junior Staff, teens will develop interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and a sense of community engagement while experiencing on-the-job Club work. This program gives participating teens a chance to use the things they’ve learned in the Club about how to achieve academic success, display good citizenship and live healthy lifestyles, and pay it forward to younger members of the organization. They are given the opportunity to be the difference in someone else’s life that their Club leaders were in their lives. The Junior Staff program gives teens practical tips and self-exploration activities that will help them as Junior Staffers and beyond as they pursue long-term career goals.
